I have got a very sensitive skin and so there are only so many products that I can try! I am very particular about my skin. I only try something that I feel would work really well for me. I used to try products after reading about a dozen reviews but to be honest most of those times the products didn't work for me at all. So now all I stick to is the products that I know are a 100% going to work for my skin.

Yes To is a brand that I wanted to try for a really long time now. But I thought it was a really over priced brand. It claims to have 99% Natural ingredients in it's products which impresses me the most. Again,  not all natural or organic products really work for my skin. So I am really happy that I have found a brand that serves me with the perfect blend of ingredients.

Whenever I am trying a skincare brand, I try to go with their face wash first because I feel like it gives me a pretty good idea about the whole range. So naturally when I was finally done with my Dove Face Wash I decided to give the face wash from their Carrots range a try as it is meant for normal to dry skin. BOY! I am so pleased with the results. It is a really mild exfoliating face wash and the bonus part is that it is fragrance free! It comes in a 110 ml tube (another check in the 'perfect face wash list') and it really cleanses my skin at the end of the day. It's most probably psychological but I feel like it makes my skin feel so fresh (a must in this INDIAN SUMMER).

So overall it really works for me and I have already ordered another one! *GUILTY* I also can't wait to try other products from this range.

Have you tried any of the products from Yes To? Leave a comment below if you have tried any of the products or even if you have any products in your wishlist from this brand.

Until next time,

I know, by the title of this post you'll be like, aren't summers supposed to be for leisure and holidaying? Yes they most definitely are, but what if I told you there was a way that you can make even your holidays productive.

We always have those things we want to achieve, but we always put them for after wards and tend to forget them. So here are some tips that I have learned along the way that can help you achieve tiny goals while on holidays.

1. MAKE A LIST: The most crucial part is always making a list and knowing what you want to achieve (during the summer). Keep the list as short as possible as you don't want to over pressurize yourself or feel demotivated. I would keep the list only upto 3 things that are not as hard to achieve but still helps you to achieve your goals.

2. DO STUFF: If you want to get an internship, get it! Have a place you always wanted to go to? Visit it! Want to start a blog? There isn't a better time to start it then during summer. Want to lose a couple of inches? Go for a 20 min walk in the park closest to you. The basic idea is to do anything, even the tiniest thing that would push you towards your main goal. Watching netflix or binge watching your favourite tv show isn't really going to help you in your goals. Keep all that for the night. Or make it a habit to finish off your work first and then do whatever the hell pleases you.

3. WORK LITTLE, PLAY HARD: Not your basic advice line now, is it? The idea behind this is not to let your goals come in between of your hard earned holiday time. Just put say about 30 mins everyday into achieving your summer goals, and before you know it! You'll be there.

I am not really sure if this will help you or not! But I had a thought about it and so I decided to write a blog post on it. Hope you guys enjoyed reading something apart from the usual beauty stuff on the blog.

Whenever you feel a bit down, I would recommend you to o through Pearl's Instagram account. She is a selfie addict, loves to travel and loves dressing up. Also, I think she is obsessed with sunglasses and her skirts! (Makes me wonder how many sunglasses does she own?) She also has such a happy go lucky personality which you'll know once you read the interview.

    1.  What inspired you to start your own blog?
That’s one really long story. I myself didn’t even know the term bloggers one year back.  Being a law graduate and switching my fields from law to HR to PR I finally found my passion to write and love for fashion and in came the blogging thought.

   2.    So do you have those moments when you feel a bit uninspired and demotivated? How do you deal with those situations?
Oh! Trust me, I have tons of them. Every day is a new struggle being still a beginner in the industry. I sulk like all normal people do, remove my frustration on the first person I see and finally shake it off and try to work harder.

   3.  Which trends do you think are huge this summer?
Lace and sheer! I myself love everything that’s lace throughout the year and this trend is finally big now for summers, I am loving it all the more. So go stack up as much as lace and sheer as you want without thinking twice.

    4.    While on the topic about trends, is there any trend you feel like “why does this trend even exist?”
Hmm as of now I am loving practically all the trends for spring summer 2015 right from the sheer, sailor stripes, wide leg pants to the pastel loving. Thank fully there is no trend this season which is too OTT, in fact most of them are fun and classy.

    5.    What are your everyday beauty essentials for this summer?
Sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen! Keep your normal beauty care as it is, just add sunblock’s to the top of that list.

    6.    If you were only allowed to wear on brand of makeup for the rest of your life, which one would you pick and why?
I have always been a loyal Mac person. Even with the biggies like Bobbi brown and Chanel hitting the market, mac will always be my go to makeup. Everything about their collection is so fun, vibrant and youthful.

    7.      As a blogger, collaborating with others is an important part. What is the best thing about collaborations according to you?
The best part is you don’t just leave with collaborations, sometimes you leave with long lasting relationships and new friends. Isn’t that best part to have friends from all across the country!

   8.  One quote that you live your life by?
Live and let live! Just as you don’t like people judging you and your life, it’s about time to practice the same on our ends too.

    9.    What is the most important thing you learned from blogging?
Don’t live to please everyone, cause out of a crowd of 100 you can have 10 haters or even 50 haters! Not everyone is going to love and appreciate you or your work, just go ahead continuing doing what you do cause you love what you do and inspire at least a few!

   10.  Any advice for anyone who wants to be a blogger?
Don’t expect a huge amount of followers from day one! Yes! There are bloggers who have instantly jumped to fame, you may or may not be that lucky so don’t be depressed. Just focus on your work, give it some time and everything will fall in place.

   11.  And lastly, what’s coming next on your blog that you’re really excited about?
Hahah. Even while I am replying to all this all that I am excited is about my vacation! No more blog planning till I get back! Its time I give myself and this blog a small break!

I think this is the first time that I am saying this but, can you BELIEVE it's already May? Fast forward 8 months and we would be in 2016! WHAT!? Getting back on the actual topic, April was definitely the month of new products, it doesn't necessarily mean that these all products were bought in April, it's just that I had never given much thought to some before trying them this past month.

Let's get on to which products I loved this month:

1. VLCC MATTE LOOK SUNSCREEN: I bought this when I went to Jaipur about 6 months ago. I would like to confess that I never actually used it though. But seeing that the heat is so bad, I decided to give it a go. The best part about this is that it is matte in formula and so it is a perfect substitute for your BB Cream or even your Foundation. That is how I actually use it. And I think it is the best way to use a matte sunscreen.

2. LAKME NAIL COLOUR REMOVER: If you don't know already I have a different level love for my nail polishes. I change my nail colour every week or sometimes even twice a week. I know that it is bad for my nails but, I don't really care. (I actually do! Going to cut them soon!) So naturally I would need a nail polish remover to remover the nail polish. For me it has to be a one swipe or max a two swipe thing. And this is exactly what this nail remover from Lakme does. Actually looking back, I now remember that this was the only one that I used many years ago!

3. MAX FACTOR GLOSSFINITY 70 Cute Coral: I got this one, I think some time in mid March. I didn't use it much then but I knew it was going to be a more frequent affair for us! I love the formula, the application is easy and the colour is so good! I have made it my mission to get as many colours as they have in this range.

4. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK The Colossal Liner: This is something that I got about a couple of weeks ago. I was out of my regular liner and wanted to give this a go. I to be honest didn't really expect much from this liner. But when I applied it, I fell in love with it instantly. The colour is so awesome and it helps me create the perfect cat eye look!

5. L'OREAL PARIS Lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia: You know I already own way too many lipsticks. I think I have enough for this lifetime! But as the saying goes "A girl can never have too many lipsticks". I first saw this in Aashna Shroff's video here. I stopped myself from buying it for about two weeks but then you know I had to buy it! And I am so glad I did. First, the colour of the packaging: ah-mazing. Next, the colour itself is so beautiful. I now think that this is going to be my favourite lipstick.

This is it for this month's favourites.
