Since Kylie Jenner decided to get perfect lips, the whole beauty industry went haywire. You'd think that the Kardashians are up to no good except being paid to merely exist! But the youngest of the clan just single handedly brought back the whole nineties lip game back. I have seen almost everybody rocking the lip trend and so I though let's try it! As you can see browns are the most trickiest shades to carry if you're not used to it. As for me, I love it! It is going to take some time to get used to because I have never even tried a brown shade before. Also, I don't think this shade really suits me though (and that's why there's no picture of me wearing it). Maybe I can wear it with a different over all combination. I will most definitely post that one here.

What are your thoughts on the whole brown lip revolution? Leave your thoughts in the comments down below.

Hello there INOUÏ readers, I’m Sally from DiagonSally! Sharmi and I recently decided to do a collaboration and share what our top five holy grail products are. Basically, the products I’ve chosen are products I always make sure to keep in my make up bag. My absolute essentials!

Etude House Colouring Brow Pencil
I got this while I was in Hong Kong and it has very quickly been my favourite brow product. It’s so lightweight and perfect for on the go as it has a brush at one end and the product at the other. The tip is slanted which allows for precision and I find it looks very natural. The texture of the pencil is neither too soft nor too hard and is extremely affordable.

MAC Creamblend Blusher in Posey
Although I try to mix up the products I use quite frequently, this is definitely one of my favourite blushers. It’s in a cream finish which leaves a dewy ‘pinched’ look on your cheeks. Sometimes when I’m having a no make up day, I still like to wear this just to add a bit of natural colour to my face. I like to apply it with a stippling brush and then smooth it out with my fingers.

Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder
Again, this product has lasted me forever. You only need a little bit and it adds a nice smooth filtered look onto your face without looking cakey. I’m also pleased that it doesn’t break me out, something which I’m always careful about. I actually don’t wear a liquid foundation generally so I use this to set my concealer and it work like a charm.

Burts Bee’s Honey Lip Balm
During the winter my lips chap very easily and this is the only product that helps and I’ve tried a lot! It feels like all the other lip products I’ve used just sit on top of my lips temporarily moisturising them but the second it’s gone my lips are completely exposed again. I swear by this particular Burt’s Bees lip balm, the only one that moisturises my lips.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
I’ve tried a few different eyelash curlers through the years and let me say, this one is worth the hype. It fits the shape of my eye very nicely and curls my lashes well. I’ve been using this particular curler for almost a year now and it’s still going strong. Having an eyelash curler is a necessity in my makeup bag!

So there we have it, my top five holy grail products! I hope you enjoyed reading them. If you want to read Sharmi’s top five, head over to my blog to read all about them. Also, let me know if any of the products I chose are in your top five!

How are we in the last week of January already! This is insane! I've got to speed up if I want to be able to achieve my goals this year. Last year (Still not used to calling 2015 last year!) I started a series where I post about my monthly makeup look. And I'm back with it again this year. Although I have been trying a lot more things to review, I've stuck with my trusted L'oreal Infallible Foundation as a base. I rarely use concealer these days and so I just use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set the foundation. I then used this Makeup Revolution Blush Palette for blush and the Australis Bronzing Powder for bronzer. I also use the top right colour from the Makeup Revolution Blush Palette for highlighting. For eyes I went really neutral with this Chi Chi eye shadow palette and finished them with the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Eye Liner and the Maybelline Colossal Mascara. I finished the look with Revlon 030 Fuchsia lipstick.

So this is it for this look. I hope you guys love it.

Although I have been raving about this foundation since about 5 months now I just realized that I never put up a review about it on the blog. Isn't it always 'Better Late Than Never!?'. So getting back into the review,  this foundation is going to be an absolute holy grail for me. First, I love how this comes with a pump so you don't waste any products and it gives you much more control over the amount you want to use. It gives you a medium to full coverage and glides on perfectly. It doesn't stick to my dry patches and is quite long lasting. I apply it with my damp Real Techniques Sponge. I would like to think that it's the best way to apply it but if you have tried to apply it any other ways, please leave your suggestions below. It is very affordable and can be easily found at your local drugstores. I'm in the shade 235 - Honey. All in all it is a great product and I would absolutely buy it again.

What's the foundation you're loving right now? Please leave your suggestions in the comments below.

Until next time,

Since I dove headfirst into makeup, lipsticks or lip products in general have been my weakness. They can make you fab from frab in one swipe! And I know more than 50% of you beauty lovers would agree with me. I initially wanted to do my Top 3 lipsticks of all time, but I've just got so many that I love, I just couldn't pick only three. So I decided I'd dig in and find my most used ones.

(1) RIMMEL KATE MOSS NO. 19: I have talked about this so many times on the blog, you guys would be like stop it already! But it is my most worn lipstick that I own. I've worn it so much that it's near to it's end. I love it so much because it is my perfect everyday shade. It is this toned down nudish berry shadethat goes with all of my outfits.

(2) CHAMBOR 157: This is my very first red lipstick I ever bought. It is matte and I swipe this over when I can't figure out what shade to wear for the night. It doesn't bleed and stays on for a long time. It is a very bright red and I have a feeling that it would go with almost all skin tones, looking different every time.

(3) REVLON 030 FUCHSIA: This is my most loved pink lipstick! I just love this colour. It looks great on you and as the name suggests it's the perfect fuchsia shade with a bit of a purple undertone to it as well. This shade can be worn very lightly as a stain or a very out there pink. I generally wear this on family dinners and hangouts with friends. It makes me feel extra pretty! ;)

So I guess that's it for this post.

What's your most worn lipstick ever? Leave your answers in the comments below.

I have a thing for palettes. I love them in all forms and sizes. They look so beautiful with their different colours and patterns. Oh! How I just love them! So when I saw this blush palette from Makeup Revolution, I instantly fell in love with it. It comes with two highlighters and 6 blushes, though I have a feeling that the one in the bottom left is supposed to be a bronzer. This palette is really affordable as well. There are three matte blushes and 3 shimmery blushes. As they are a bit more pigmented then I expected, it's best to go in with a very light hand and build it gradually.

All in all I love this and I know I'm going to get so much use out of it!

Is there any palette you think I should try? Leave your recommendations below. :)

Until next time,

When it comes to brushes, I am never really experimental. I'll buy one and make it work one way or the other. For some reason I've always been a bit lazy about brushes. I had bought one set of real techniques brushes way back in 2013 and I'm still using them. Then I bought a couple of shadow brushes from Sephora in Dubai which was in mid 2015. But since I've become a bit more experimental with makeup, I decided to invest a bit more in brushes. I ended up buying two brushes while on my recent trip to Mumbai. I bought a fan brush for highlighting from VEGA and a M.A.C 219. I haven't used the M.A.C one as of yet but the VEGA one works so perfect for highlighting. I'll report back for the M.A.C brush soon.

I'm looking for a good foundation brush, so please leave your suggestions in the comments below.

We are already half-way through January and that is the biggest indication that this year is going to go as quick as 2015 went. When it comes to any personal achievements, 2015 was a bit of a dud! I couldn't do what I really wanted to do and by the time I realized that, 2015 was gone! So for this year I have decided to pick 5 things that I want to do in this year. This post was inspired by Sherry Shroff's "5 Things I Want To Do This Year Tag" which you can watch here.

1. 100,000 VIEWS ON THE BLOG: This is what I wanted to achieve in 2015 but you know better late than never! My blog will definitely be my biggest priority this year seconded by my YouTube channel. People say that one should never think about numbers while writing a blog, but let's be real, that's what gives us a sense of achievement right?

2. 1000 SUBSCRIBERS ON YOUTUBE: If you are not aware yet then I started my YouTube channel back in December 2015. And I would really like to have around 1000 Subscribers on my channel.I'm obviously going to work super hard for it and so let's hope I get there!

3. SPEND NEW YEAR'S: I have never spent New Year's Eve partying away with friends till today. And I would really like to change that this year, just because the idea of spending it away on a beach or on a party somewhere is so exciting and memorable!

4. BUY SOMETHING FOR MYSELF: I am a person who buys something whenever I achieve a goal. So as I said last year was a bust, this year I've decided to gift myself something a bit expensive, maybe a better camera, or an Iphone! Haven't decided yet, but if I do cross 100,000 views on my blog this year, I'd definitely buy one thing that will be very useful to me.

5. GET A TATTOO: I've wanted to get another tattoo since forever, but this year I have made up my mind to get one no matter what! I'd reveal it to you guys once I get it.

So that's it for this post. :D

Please let me know in the comments below as to what are your 5 things you'd like to do this year.

From around December till March it's generally wedding season here in India. So that means tons of shopping for outfits and their matching accessories. Thanks to online shopping, we now don't need to roam from shop to shop in the Indian heat. I might do a wedding series in the coming months but for today I'm going to be sharing two pairs of earrings that I bought from this store called Style Fiesta.

Style Fiesta is one of the leading companies in India when it comes to bringing world wide trends at our doorsteps. Their site is very easy to navigate and I always want everything from it! So today I've got these beautiful earrings to share with you guys!

The first one is the 'KUNDAN GODDESS EARRINGS' which features the beautiful kundan and pearl design. You can find it here.

The second one is the 'CLUSTER GOLD EARRINGS' which are a bit heavier than expected but they look so good! Unfortunately I couldn't find them anywhere on the site. But you can find similar ones here.

I'm going to wear the heck out of them this wedding season!

You can shop these earrings and more here on

This is it for this post.

This post is pretty self explanatory from the title itself! A thing that I have never ever disclosed to anyone before is that I wanted to start a YouTube channel initially before I even considered the idea of starting my very own blog. But I could never get myself to even film a decent video let alone upload one. So as many out there did, I too decided to start a blog first and see if this job is really for me. Little did I know, this would turn out to be the best thing that I did in my life. It became more of a hobby than a job and I started enjoying it much more. Now that I know this is where I want my career to be, I thought that it was time to start my very own YouTube channel. I posted my first video very nervously on the 6th December, 2015. But was so overwhelmed by the response it got! So then I continued to film and post and now I've got 5 videos on my channel already! How crazy does that even sound! I hope that I can maintain all my social media accounts as well as my blog and my YouTube channel side by side. I am going to give my 100% as soon as I graduate in March. But for now I'm loving how busy all this makes me.

So for now I'm leaving the links to all my 5 videos along with their titles below. Do check it out!

When it comes to New Year Resolutions, we either have super healthy ones or the once where we want to achieve things materialistically. What we forget is about our skin. Our skin suffers the most whether we're working out or stressing out by the end of the week to meet deadlines. So I think including a couple of resolutions for your skincare sounds like a doable thing to me.

Every beauty magazine or blogger lists drinking more water as the secret behind fresh and dewy skin. What water does is that it flushes out the toxins from our body while still maintaining a balance internally. So basically it works as a detox for your system. These days there are so many different ways to staying hydrated: You can try different fresh juices or infused water. Stick to whatever that works for you.

I am not a huge fan of dieting in general. I love food. Any kind of food as long as it is vegetarian. So I don't believe in the idea of leaving all the delicious food aside to eat just veggies! It's torture! But I do believe in eating with the right balance. Stuffing your mouth with two slices of cheesecake at a go is never a good idea (been there, done that!). What works is cutting the amount in half and having some sort of healthy food along with it. It has been working for me, so you guys can definitely give it a try.

One of the things I would like to master this year is staying on top of things and doing them before the end moment. I am that person who would leave everything to the last minute and then just being tensed for the day or two till I finally finish the pending tasks. Due to being such a lazy ass I've missed so many opportunities and chances that could have been amazing for my future. And the worst part? It stresses out my skin like crazy and then I'd have odd spots here and there for the next week! So the bottom line is start the day you're giving the task and make sure you plan it well so you can finish it off before you're supposed to!

I cannot stress enough on this topic! Sleep is so much more important than we think. So think your body as your cellphone! You need to charge your cellphone once it's on low battery! Sleeping is charging your body for the activities of the next day! If it's not charged well enough, you'd feel tired and lethargic and won't be able to finish the day's work properly. Moreover you'll get dark circles which are the worst enemies of your skin. For an adult body 7-8 hours of sleep is highly recommended. So make sure you sleep well!

Looking after your skin externally is as important as looking after it from within. The number one tip anyone would give you is to use sunscreen! Even if it is winter do not skip sunscreen! Second, use good quality products. High priced products are not always the best ones. Only use the products that work for your skin. You can experiment but do not continue to use it once you know it doesn't work. Make sure you know your skin type and use products accordingly. Most importantly, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remove your makeup before you go to sleep.

When you're positive from the inside, you look great on the outside! See, the key to staying positive is to always do what makes you happy. Nobody can be positive all year round but even if something negative happens, try finding the tiniest positive thing within those circumstances and you'll see the difference in you. Being negative most of the time makes you unhappy and you lose the glow from your face. So make sure you stay happy with whatever you do and try to keep it positive along the day!

So comment down below saying which one of the above will be in your resolutions list this year?

Until next time,
Sharmi Shah

If you are following me on my social media accounts then you would know that I love wearing red lips almost on every occasion. But by the end of the night, it's either washed off or looks really patchy and disgusting! I am someone who doesn't like to reapply lipsticks multiple times during the night, I mean who the hell has that kind of time! So the best solution was to invest in a red lip-liner. I did my research and ended up with CHERRY by M.A.C. The colour looks so good on it's own and when I applied my red lipstick on top of it, it stayed on a lot longer than I expected. Although it doesn't come cheap (Rs. 1450), it's worth investing into as it's also going to last me for months!

What's your favourite M.A.C product?

Leave your suggestions in the comments down below!

Until next time,
