I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!

I turned 22 this Monday and I'm so loving it! I celebrated it with an intimate dinner with just my family. I think I've just grown out of the party scene probably because I haven't partied in so long. As it was my birthday month, I kind of wanted to get a bit more into makeup so I could have my birthday dinner look down. For base I reached out for this Cambor Orosa Skin Foundation. This gives my skin such a dewy and smooth finish while providing a decent coverage. I then follow up with this Rimmel Stay Matte Powder just so that everything stays in plays all day long. For blush I used this one by Maybelline ColourShow in Creamy Cinnamon. As the summer is almost upon us I thought this coral powder blush would just be enough to add a bit of a colour to my cheeks. For eyes I really needed to take a break from the liquid eyeliner and mascara combo. So instead I just opted for this eye shadow stick by ColorBar in Blush 002. For lips I went with this very muted pink colour from L'oreal Paris' Brunettes Collection in 257.

As usual my make was very minimalistic. Once I graduate which will be in two weeks. I am planning to actually start experimenting a bit more.

Until next time,

Since a couple of years ago I was so scared of using foundations just because I thought they were only one kind - heavy! Fast forward to today and I've got a whole pile of them in my collection now. The latest entry in the heap is the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation by Maybelline. This foundation is actually meant for Normal to Oily skin types and I've got the driest skin on earth (probably). Saying that my T zone has been getting a lot more oilier recently and so I thought I'd give this foundation a try. Before applying this foundation I used the Nivea Post Shaving Balm as a primer. My first impressions of this foundation was how smoothly it glides on and surprisingly it did make my pores look smaller than usual. I am not a huge fan of matte bases and this as it turns out is not completely matte. It kinda leaves this sheen on and it makes me look really fresh. This comes in 6 shades so there's a shade for every skin tone. I don't absolutely love this foundation but I don't hate it as well. So I definitely will be using this one just maybe not that often. It might work perfectly for someone with a skin that is a bit more normal than mine.
Have you tried this foundation yet?
What are you thoughts on it?

Until next time,
Stay. Incredible.

As I turned 22 recently I thought it was time for me to share a little more about me with you guys. So let's get right into it.

1. I am from India and I live in Jamnagar which is a tiny but lovely town in the state of Gujarat.

2. I am really impatient. If that thing takes time, I'm simply not doing it.

3. I also get bored very easily. I think it is a real problem and I'm trying to change it.

4. I've had the weirdest accidents ever. Like this one time we went horseback riding and the horse fell on my leg and that's how I got a fracture. Like who does this ever happen to!

5. At one point in life I wanted to have a career in dance. I have been trained in Kathak for 4 years. I also love Contemporary and Salsa.

6. Taking career aspirations into consideration, I wanted to become an air hostess, a teacher, a fashion designer and an actor. I was a teenager then!

7. In 2011 I had green and blue highlights in my hair. Though they weren't very visible and washed out after about 5-6 washes.

8. I love to plan ahead. Like if I haven't written anything down for tomorrow, I'd procrastinate like crazy and end up wasting the whole day on irrelevant stuff.

9. Saying that I still don't know what I want to do say in the coming two years except like growing my blog 10000 times.

10. I'm the absolute worst when it comes to saving money and this is something I have been working on really hard too. God! There is so much I need to fix about me.

11. I have never had any favourites in my life. Like I love almost all colours, all kinds of food, etc. I think this is because I'm really indecisive or maybe I'm just an unbiased person after all! ;)

12. I am a vegetarian and always have been. Though I almost ate a pepperoni pizza thinking they were tomatoes on my very first night in Australia. There's no logic as to why I would think that but they just looked like tomatoes on the website!

13. I have traveled so much around the world thanks to my wonderful parents. But there is still so much more to see and I cannot wait to travel more. Someday I wish to settle down either in Mumbai, Dubai or in Australia.

14. I'm a complete book worm. I must have at least a 100 books in my collection right now. I have books that range from Nancy Drews to Lauren Conrad's Beauty Book.

15. I've got one tattoo and it says "It all happens for a reason". There are two more that I plan to get. Hopefully soon.

16. Orange Juice is my most favourite beverage to have. I can drink OJ with any food. Literally any. Oh and I'm a dessert person. If It was up to me I'd order desserts first and then start the meal.

17. I have a serious obsession with sunglasses! I have about 10 pairs and I just ordered two more!

18. I am a serious stationary hoarder. If I see anything cute at all, I have to buy it otherwise I'll keep thinking about it.

19. I love watching mystery and crime shows the most. Criminal Minds, CSI, Hawaii Five-O, etc. I just love how interesting and gripping they are.

20. FRIENDS is my all time favourite Tv series. But I have never been able to get myself to watch season 10 because I'm so afraid for it to finish and I know I'm going to cry so much.

21. I'm a very emotional person when it comes to my Dad. I generally don't cry but when I see my Dad being emotional or upset or anything within those terms, my waterworks just wouldn't stop.

22. I love going on long drives with music on full blast! I don't care if I'm alone or have got 10 other people with me. I just absolutely love going on long drives.

So these were 22 pretty random facts about me.

As I would love to know you guys a bit more please leave some facts about you in the comments below! :D

Until next time,

When it comes to fashion, I very rarely experiment with my style. I like clothes that are comfortable and casual. When I'm going out I'll throw on a fancy top but I'll make sure I'm wearing jeans rather than a skirt or anything else that require a bit of a maintenance. For this look I threw on this over-sized shirt by Topshop pairing it with my comfiest Forever 21 skinny jeans. For footwear I went with these white pumps by Miss Benett London. Now they weren't the easiest to walk on at first but now that I'm used to them, they feel really comfortable. You can pair this look up with any accessories you want. I went with a yellow clutch by Koovs and these reflecting sunnies.

I had so much fun shooting this on my terrace. It was really impromptu. I asked my cousin whether she's shoot some pictures for me and she was like yeah so fast forward 2 hours I had this to share with you guys.

If you have any suggestions regarding any posts, please leave them down below.

Until next time,

When I initially started blogging here in India, the number of new launches were so limited that I actually had to order stuff from outside when any of my cousins came to visit me. But since then the times have changed a lot. Although I still order bits and pieces from outside I am always so grateful when brands here launch new products every now and then. One such exciting launch in the beginning of this year was by Maybelline. They launched these Color Sensational Lip Gradation. Available in 8 bright, matte shades, this double-sided lip product will inspire you to experiment with your looks and bring out your unique style and personality. The color stick at one end will give a gorgeous pop of color while the cushion blender tool at the other end will give a sexy, graded look. For a complete trend-on look, apply color on the centre of your upper lip and use the sponge smudger to extend the color to the outer edges till the contours of your lips or use it as a matte lip color or a lip liner. I got myself the shades Mauve 1 and Pink 1. Personally I don't see myself wearing these using the "gradation" effect. I tried it and it looked really weird. I don't think wearing these using the effect is quite practical in my day to day life. But I love wearing them in the regular manner. My favourite out of both is the Mauve 1. It is a very subtle brownish tone which I have been loving so much lately. The Pink 1 is way too pink for me and so I use the smudger at the end of it to smudge it and wear it as a stain.
All in all I love them! I still might get a couple more colours from this range especially a red one.
So have any of you tried these? These have been name Colour Blur in most of the countries.
Let me know your thoughts on these in the comments below.

Until next time,

Alright y’all. We are still pretty close to the beginning of the New Year, but just far enough in to start losing the motivation to keep those big goals we set on the 1st of January. Well, here is a little suggestion on how to stay motivated throughout the year.

1. First off, you have to want it! If you are really not sure you can get what you want, or that you are even capable of achieving your goal, you need to change something. Either your goal is way crazy, or you are not allowing yourself to believe in you. So, first decide and know that you want it, then go from there.

2. Second of all, don’t lose it! Don’t you lose that motivation. I have found that the best kind of motivation is self-motivation. No one can motivate you unless you are already motivated to be motivated! (Yes, that sure is a lot of motivation.) You have to be the one that decides here and now that you will do whatever it takes, no matter WHAT to reach those goals of yours.

3. So, what are those goals? No one cares – not even you – if you only have the goals in your head. WRITE THEM DOWN! I don’t know about you, but I have heard this plenty of times in my life. But, you know what else? I put it to the test. I write down my goals, because then I show myself how serious I really am about them! And, guess what? I remember those goals and stick to the plan a whole lot better when I do. Here is a little example:
I saved a note in my phone regarding a few goals, and then I totally forgot I had even done so. Months later, I was looking through all my phone notes, and noticed that buried note of goals! Luckily, it actually was titled “Goals” so I was able to know what it consisted of. I got curious as to what those “goals” were, and opened it up. My goals were very specific: numbers; dates; names; the works. Well, to my surprise, and in the most pleasant way, I realized how much I had stuck to what I wrote down. It was amazing! I was so excited to see that the simple act of writing down some goals, I probably just thought up that day, stayed with me enough for me to work towards them subconsciously!

4. Next, keep your motivation up by attracting what you want into your life. Look things up that have to do with what you want: rent books; follow motivating people; check out videos on that same subject. You are a whole lot more likely to go where you want to go, and do what you want to do, if you are filling your head with stories, and facts, from people who already are where you want to be. In other words, reach up! It is a lot easier to climb your way up when you grab hold of a rope affixed above your head, right?

5. Start your days out right! I personally have a morning schedule I try hard to adhere to daily. You may not be religious, and I had my phase in life like that too, but things changed. Well, now that I trust in my Maker substantially more than myself, I dedicate each day to Him by praying and studying from my scriptures, and other good books, first thing. It works for me, because my priorities are spot on. If I put what is most important in my life on the back burner, my days are chaotic. Really. So, figure out what is number one in your life, and concentrate on that, first thing every day. When you do, you will be both amazed and blessed to see how much better your day flows!

6. Take time for yourself! You can’t accomplish what you want if you never take a break. That may sound counter productive, but it actually isn’t. There are so many forces out there willing to assist you, you just have to ask (I personally ask my God and angels). Then you leave yourself more time to allow higher energies to work in your favor, and take some of the stress away from you. Relax. You don’t get what you want when you are stressing over it all the time. That is counter productive.

7. Don’t get upset if things do not go “according to plan.” As stated in the previous suggestion, when you allow greater forces to work in your favor, then you allow wiser sources to do their job. Meaning, things will most likely travel different roads than you originally anticipated. That is a very good thing! Don’t be alarmed when it seems like you are getting farther from your goals. Trust me, it will all work out. Keep the faith, and let things flow.

8. Just as you should not fret if things don’t appear to be working in your favor, when they actually are, don’t fret about time. We oftentimes want things to magically happen in our own rushed timeline that we are too impatient to wait, and we give up. Once again, wiser forces know a heck of a lot more than you do, so just let them do their job and trust that everything will happen in the time frame it is supposed to.

9. Keep your eye on the ball! I like to write down everything I feel inspired to, in order to stay focused, and then stick it on the wall in the place I am at the most (computer desk, bedroom wall I face most often, etc.). It is a constant reminder, and helps me remember where I am headed. Sometimes those “signs” need to be updated, as things change. That is okay, and can even be great! Change them as necessary, but always in a way that allows constant movement forward – NOT backward.

10. Have faith!! Yes, I mentioned this already, but it cannot be said enough. No matter what is occurring, so long as you keep calling upon your greater forces (I personally like to pray and ask my God, and also charge my angels to assist me), it will all work out! Probably a whole lot better than you imagined it would too. Just…DON’T…lose it.
And most importantly, remember:

You’ve got this!!

If you don't know the hype that's been going around this product then you might definitely be like, why the hell am I reviewing an after shave balm? This product is used by hundreds of beauty bloggers as a primer. You read that absolutely correct. This beauty hack was discovered by Nikki Tutorials when she was without a primer and had to quickly improvise with items at her boyfriend's house. She claims that this product changed her priming life forever. And since then so many bloggers have been raving about this simple but very effective hack. So as I have the bug in me too, I gave it a try as well. I'll have to say, I'm pretty impressed by it. This product has got some serious lasting power. Once you apply your makeup on this your makeup won't budge. It retails for about Rs. 230 for 100 ml here in India. The best part about this product is that it has 0% Alcohol in it which makes it absolutely perfect to use on sensitive skin. It think I am not going to spend any more money on any of the other expensive ones considering I've already found the one that works so perfectly. I am not too sure how well does this work for oily skin but you can always read reviews of other bloggers to see if it does.

Do send your feedback once you try this on yourself. And if you have already tried it, then let me know your experience in the comments below.

Until next time,
