When I initially started blogging here in India, the number of new launches were so limited that I actually had to order stuff from outside when any of my cousins came to visit me. But since then the times have changed a lot. Although I still order bits and pieces from outside I am always so grateful when brands here launch new products every now and then. One such exciting launch in the beginning of this year was by Maybelline. They launched these Color Sensational Lip Gradation. Available in 8 bright, matte shades, this double-sided lip product will inspire you to experiment with your looks and bring out your unique style and personality. The color stick at one end will give a gorgeous pop of color while the cushion blender tool at the other end will give a sexy, graded look. For a complete trend-on look, apply color on the centre of your upper lip and use the sponge smudger to extend the color to the outer edges till the contours of your lips or use it as a matte lip color or a lip liner. I got myself the shades Mauve 1 and Pink 1. Personally I don't see myself wearing these using the "gradation" effect. I tried it and it looked really weird. I don't think wearing these using the effect is quite practical in my day to day life. But I love wearing them in the regular manner. My favourite out of both is the Mauve 1. It is a very subtle brownish tone which I have been loving so much lately. The Pink 1 is way too pink for me and so I use the smudger at the end of it to smudge it and wear it as a stain.
All in all I love them! I still might get a couple more colours from this range especially a red one.
So have any of you tried these? These have been name Colour Blur in most of the countries.
Let me know your thoughts on these in the comments below.
Until next time,

I like the idea of these, but I don't think I would be good at the blending thing! Thanks for your review x

Yeah me neither. I prefer to apply them as a stain or as a full on lipstick. Not too keen on the idea about an ombre lip on everyday basis. :D

These look so pretty hun! I haven't tried them, or seen them in shops yet actually - I'll have to check them out. I love matte formulas at the moment, so I think I'd really like them.
